A bias for shipping, complex logic, and zero bullshit.
Less sliding, more building: turning complex systems into scalable interfaces.
Hello.
I'm Piotr Słodyczko, a Product Designer working on banking, FinTech and complex B2B platforms.
(I have been designing digital products long enough to remember when layouts were built with HTML tables).
I currently design banking back offices and a white-label design system at BKN301. I also work with Deviniti on enterprise projects, including wealth modules for mobile banking. Before that, I led product design at Planky (Open Banking) through to its acquisition by BKN301, and I'm now designing Planky 2.0, including a working demo built with AI.
What drives me is the overlap between design, engineering and business logic: finding the balance between how a product looks and how well it works.
I have designed products for Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Siemens, ING, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates NBD and Explain Everything. Through my own practice, Gorillas Studio, I have designed large platforms from scratch: international e-commerce (Dekoria), a multi-sided corporate benefit platform (MyFoodie), and interfaces for Digital Twins and spatial computing.
How I Can Help
- Systems: Token-based design systems, and interfaces driven by complex business rules and rule engines.
- Show, Don't Slide: Testing ideas with interactive prototypes and live-data demos built with AI, instead of static mockups.
- AI in the workflow: Using AI models and Second Brain workflows to automate repetitive work, with pen and paper still close when mapping out core logic.
